Upcoming Plans

Hello everyone, we are currently in Berlin, planning the next few weeks of our trip. I thought I`d post an itinerary, and if anyone has any suggestions like sites to see, people to meet up with (or stay with!), or cool little dive bars that are a bit off the "tourist trail" that we simply must see, then please share!

Prague, Czech Republic
Krakow, Poland
Vienna, Austria
Budapest, Hungary
Munich, Germany
Paris, France

So there you go, share if you can. Hope everyone is doing well!

  1. You should get a hold of Wick's Cousin that lives near Paris. She has a lot of friends in the area and is very friendly. She used to live in San Francisco and just recently moved to France.

I'm sure you could couchsurf with her for a couple of days!

  3. Paris - Mike, I know you're a Doors fan so I would recommend 'ole Jim Morrison's grave. It's far out...

A boat trip down the river Seine is most excellent if it's not too cold.

Also, there are the cryptic Catacombs of Paris if you're in the mood for skulls, bones, and some underground adventures.

    Godspeed!

  4. Mike,

This is your Cousin Rob. I'm actually going to Europe for the first time in December. I'm going to be in Paris Dec. 28th to 30th, then Germany until the 6th of Jan. I'll be staying in Erfurt then Lipzig, then Berlin. I'm staying with a friend of mine from high school so I already am aware of some good places to visit. Anyway, my email is Rob.klemisch@gmail.com if you want to let me know when exacly you will be where.

  5. Jack, I might look her up, thanks for the info.

Tyson, already planning on Jim's grave (and possibly a self-guided walking tour of his old "haunts"), but I appreciate the reminder, and of course, the other suggestions.

Rob, I'll probably just email you.

    Godspeed to everyone out there!

  6. definately have lunch at the hafbrauhaus in Munich. State owned brewery/resteraunt. Nurenburg is a really cool town in Bavaria too, and the hostel is in the old castle.
