Country Road, Take Me Home...

We are headed to Singapore today, our last and final destination. We fly from Singapore to Tokyo, Japan then to San Francisco and finally land in Salt Lake City. Our travels home, with flights and layovers, should take us around 23 hours-yuck. Check back in a couple weeks to see our posts on the rest of Malaysia, Singapore, and some sort of trip summary.

  2. Em and Mike,

Wow, I'm not sure how I feel. Sad that you've completed your 6 month dream trip, very sad that we won't be joining your family to welcome you home, happy that you will be back to the old routine, and really happy to be able to see Mike and hear of your travels,(first-hand). Em, be sure to thank your folks for us for the invitation. We plan on taking them up on it (if we can!) at a later date. Have fun with your family as we plan to with Mike!
    Love,
    Mom S.

  4. Thank you, Shari. I'm glad you enjoyed the blog and our travels, and I'm writing this from my parents' house. So, if you haven't talked to them, we made it back!

John, thanks for the heads up, I would have liked to have seen Marshall. Next time in the SLC.

  7. Mike, when are you going to let everyone in on your "little secret" that you really didn't even leave Mom and Dad's basement for 6 months and posted all the pictures from scanning in Grampa's old Nat'l Geographics??? Sorry, hope I didn't spoil it for you :) Hee hee, I popped on tonight out of habit and couldn't help myself. Glad that you updated the status of where you're at to "Seattle."

  8. Sandy,
Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    Jackie,
I thought that that was our little secret. Now, I guess I'll have to tell the world about your affinity for Elton John!
